Just another day

I am having one of those crazy 24 hours of my life again. Never thought that the last day of 2008 in the office could get so insane. I envy all those who are on a super massive long break from Christmas. Then again I'll just complain I'm dead bored. Okay I'm going around in circles.

Helter skelter hustle bustle from the moment I step foot in the office until pretty much half an hour before I left. I just don't know why that I scheduled meetings and appointments on a half-working-day, eve on a "public" holiday and get myself stranded in Mutiara Damansara.

At least I am extremely happy because I had some real freaking awesome Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun for dinner. Every time I chew it down, it brings back so many childhood memories when I am always back there for Chinese New Year. Mmmm... Thanks babe for hooking me up woohoo!



The year 2008 has been awfully awesome and fun for me. With that, I take my hat off and bow.

Monday holiday blues

I'm falling sick. Thanks to the many late nights in a row, the air-cond in barsonic, unexpected downpours, overload of deep fried pork noodles, Wendy's Frosty, Azuwan, Kent Neo 6 menthol's, buzzing electro tunes, oily fried food, ice cold drinks and too much of sleep.

Lazy Sunday afternoon. I don't feel like doing anything at all.

Saturday night was bored to death as well. Only hung out at Palate Palette past midnight with a few guys. Palate was dead empty. Everyone probably went over to Cloth 'n Clef for some Broken Hearts Indie music night or something. Mundane the night was until we had some super Ramly behind KL Plaza.

Friday Night TAG

Woohoo!!

I still cannot believe it that I am not working from the 25th until 29th! At first it seems to me that it sounds like a quest to become the ultimate vegetable but it comes to a point that I get sick of staying at home from too much resting and lazing around. Don't expect me to go to a mall between these few days. I don't want to put up with traffic, parking, queues, people and KIDS.

Belated Christmas

I didn't celebrate Christmas at all this year. I mean I did went out last night which is much better than last year because I remember I got stuck in the office until it was wayyyyy too late to get out of the area. Hence, I was stuck in The Curve until 2am. At O'Briens with Ee Mun and Naomi to be exact.

Christmas for most people in KL is just another reason to go out to get smashed drunk on the eve just because it is a public holiday the next day. I wish I was in Japan or Paris for Christmas. I'd get a whole new experience then rather than to get stuck on the Sprint highway during midnight.

You don't say the countless of roadblocks everywhere throughout the night.

Amazingly, I stayed home the whole day like a vegetable, craving for sashimi, oysters and crab from the very Slumberland mattress I lay on 10 hours ago. Yes, 10 hours of sleep straight is something I haven't had in maybe, 3 months? Anyway, I finally got out about 9 to Wendy's and I have to tell you that the Frosty is to die for!

Exhausted

Had a gathering with my high school and childhood friends last night. As usual I'm always fashionably late but janji sampai. Can't blame me for the traffic to Bangsar, right? It has been a long time since we actually sat down for dinner together. What would've been a better plan was a barbecue, mmmm.

Everyone is getting older now and the things we talk about aren't the same like we used to before. Yet, we look back at our lives and the times spent together to laugh about.

The bubble will burst

I will be having a hectic and challenging start for 2009. I can feel it every day as we slowly seep into the new year. As much as I love challenges and doing everything at the same time, I can only hope and pray for some time off to relax. Everything has been so fast paced that I felt 2008 just went by with a blink of an eye.

Well, looks like I really gotta enjoy of what's left of the year now and frankly, I had an awesome year. Of course there are times of dismay as I don't wake up on a bed full of roses but it has been great. The rollercoaster ride have been exhilirating and an arduous task and yet, I still walk away smiling.

Anyway, the Saturday was just a bore. There were so many things happening at the same time. Junksale, art exhibition, exclusive sale, you name it. Was even suppose to drop by Zouk for Pipit's 2nd Anniversary but ended up hanging out in Chili's half the afternoon.

I am officially tired. I think I really love to squeeze my ever-tight schedule all the time. Never knew how busy I would get end of this year. Everything just kept piling up. I foresee a wee bit of difficulties next year too. Plus all these parties? I'm lucky enough to be still standing and kicking it alive.

The Mystery Jets played a DJ set with TAG last night. It was so-so but the place was so packed. Probably everyone came to get a glimpse and to see bassist Kai and guitarist William get on the decks. I'm so definitely gonna catch the band 'live' in Singapore next month.



























I got quite the shitfaced by the end of the night.

Shit it's already almost a year since I kept this blog. Oh well, let's see how long can I keep this up still. ZoukOut was fun. No regrets making the trip down. Lucky thing as well because Mystery Jets cancelled their gig with Lapsap on Saturday. Pictures from last weekend.

Homeclub

Headed out only at 10pm last night to grab my late dinner. Was supposed to meet up with a couple of other people but just wasn't on our ways. Not even a day and I'm feeling tired already. Hit up Homeclub around midnight and met with a couple Malaysians, partying it KL style (according to Hakim) but failed miserably without AZUWAN's presence.

























It is also learnt that indie rock and roll king DJ Bunga Lim can't play Guitar Hero for jack shit (Jack Got Jacked Jack Beats remix). I think Jules can also "ta pau" him with his Nintendo DS version hehe. Plus who says that streetwear collaborations with Disney aren't cool? Bryan on the other hand would like to think otherwise...

Just got into Singapore. Didn't get any sleep the night before as I was rushing for some work when I got home in the morning and running around trying to pack my clothes. I'm not really looking forward to Zoukout but I'm anticipating a good break and chill out time with my friends.

Can't wait to meet up the rest of the Malaysian bunch and make fun of Azmans! Rofl!

Two

Manage to head down to Palate Palette for its Two Years Anniversary bash just in time to snag a couple of beers off the free flow bar. It wasn't packed like its other parties but just a nice mix of crowd and of course, familiar faces.

The best bit of the night besides free flow? Two snazzy Dell laptops were given away as lucky draw prize and best dressed. Awesome twosome.

Helter skelter, hustle bustle, romper stomper. Still manage to make some time and get down to the Juice x Hennessy Coollist event. What do you get when you organize a party I mean a mid-week party during dinner time? You find yourself surrounded by "suits" who'd just shoot off from work, I guess.

Then again, there were also a number of err, 'cool' people, decked out in shades. Don't even start mentioning about the "azmans" out there last night. Tons. Just to, err, look cool? Anyway, the generous free flow kept the crowd busy the whole time. Mmmm.. Miami. <3

I know. I haven't been updating. I have been super busy lately and I don't even have time for myself. I mean, I'm just missing out my sweet time to catch up on DVD's that's it but I'm alright. Just, very very hectic busy.

I haven't gotten a good rest lately too and it's been only 3 to 4 hours of sleep a day for the past week. The weekend and public holiday itself too didn't help. I need to have more time to catch up on that stackingly high pile of movies. I'm missing out so much. :(

To kick start December, I had bought these babies in just in time for the Yuletide season. Awkward and weird it may look but I sure damn heart them to death! Just can't wait to pop it! Also reminds me that I need to freaking get a new shoe rack!
